Pinning....

Pinterest takes on a whole new meaning when you have your own home to think about!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has been fully consuming my computer time. I have decided to take things one step at a time. First step is the back yard (obviously the most important. we are so practical), perhaps because it needs minimal TLC. I am so excited to have a little garden (thank you, previous owners!) so I can step right in and pretend I grew those tomatoes that are about to bloom. Ha.
Next step is the sun room, the upstairs bedroom and the upstairs bath. If you see me on pinterest, I am slowly trying to decide what my life is going to look like over the next few months...

On a side note, we are SO excited to be right down the street from our favorite newlyweds, Mary and Blair!!(shameless promo for RJ Rockers there)

Hello, Greenville!! We are almost there!

Reminiscing....

First of all, I had to look up how to spell "reminiscing"

Second of all, I saw this today and just had to share. I think number 38 is my favorite. I was, as I'm sure many others were, thoroughly in love with *NSYNC. Even then, Justin was the main man, but in that picture in #38, they are all looking quite dapper in their overalls (were those really that cool back then??? yikes.)

I know being 26 is not that old, but it is funny to think about the fact that 1995 was 17 years ago. In my mind, the 90's are still just a few years ago....

They were the epitome of American.
Duh, *NSYNC totally ruled over BSB.

I have no words. The hair, the jackets, the turtlenecks.

Bye, Bye, Bye!

Less than 50 days...

Less than 50 days until we get married! And in the last 50 days, I got a job!!!! What a relief to have that set in stone and not have to worry about finances as soon as we are married. Next step: find a place to live, or it's hello to the soon to be in-law's basement! (Just kidding, we would really go live with Mary and Blair. That okay with you guys?)

In other news, I have successfully grown a basil plant!!! Some of my basil leaves were used for the first time over the weekend in some homemade bruschetta. (Notice I didn't say that I made it. But someone else did and I ate it, so that counts right?) It was delicious and I am so proud of my green thumb!! I think it had a lot to do with the soil my mom recommended and some diligent watering, but hey, I did it! Next up is growing rosemary!
Happy hump day everyone!!
