Talking with another teacher today, she told me that during her class yesterday she brought out an overhead projector to do a lesson with the kids. After she got it set up and was ready to start teaching, one of the students raised his hand to ask a question.
His question: "What are you gonna do with that robot??"

The teacher responded, through stifled laughter, by asking the whole class if anyone knew what "the robot" was. None of the students did. Therefore, she gave a brief history lesson talking about "life before Smartboards" to the students and then proceeded on with her lesson. I think it's about to be "goodbye overhead" time very soon in the schools....
